1 Thessalonians
This letter of Paul to the Church on Thessalonica was probably the first part of the New Testament to be written down, in about 51 AD. Paul is defending his own authority, and stressing that it is the well being of the Thessalonian christians that he is concerned about. He then continues with some teaching on practical matters, and on the second coming of Christ.
